The bachelor’s degree in finance is designed to provide students with a broad, yet indepth, knowledge of several financial disciplines including corporate finance, banking, investment finance, managerial finance, financial accounting and insurance. In addition to new knowledge, student will develop analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Topics covered in most bachelor level finance programs include managerial accounting, corporate finance, economics, investment finance and financial analysis.

A four-year bachelor degree program in finance will prepare students for careers in a large variety of businesses, industries and settings. Many finance graduates end up working in business, insurance, real estate, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, government, and corporate finance, among other industries. Most entry-level finance positions in finance involve supporting and managing the daily financial functions (corporate, managerial, accounting, etc.) for the organizations they work for.
